EMTB PARTY is an annual ride hosted by our local bike shop, Barokah Bike. It’s where E-MTB riders from all over Indonesia come together to chase trails, explore wild places, and share the same love for adventure. From Bandung to Semarang, from the slopes of Bromo to remote backcountry routes, EMTB Party has always been about going beyond the usual ride. And this time, we set our sights on something bigger — Mount Rinjani, Lombok.

Indonesia is packed with unreal riding spots that most people never get to see. EMTB Party makes those places reachable. No stress, no complicated logistics — everything’s handled by the Barokah Bike crew. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or new to E-MTB, this ride is about showing up and sending it together.

The Journey to Rinjani started at Barokah Bike, loading our E-MTBs and heading out across the sea. A 24-hour ferry ride turned into part of the story — long hours, salty air, late-night talks, and the kind of anticipation you only get before a real adventure. 

Day one on the bikes kicked off at the Mount Rinjani National Park trailhead. From there, we climbed through wide open savanna sections along the hiking route, grinding our way up toward Post 2. The views were unreal — endless greens, rolling hills, and big mountain energy.

The weather kept things interesting. Rain would roll in, fog would wrap the trail, then suddenly clear again. One moment you’re riding under gray skies, the next you’re staring at something straight out of a postcard.

Every now and then, we’d run into herds of cows right on the trail. They’re not wild — just free-roaming, left to wander by their owners. No fences, no rush. When the time comes, they casually find their own way back home.

From Post 2, the ride flipped completely. We dropped in, descending off the mountain through sections of wet forest, cutting across the slopes of Rinjani.The jungle vibe was next level — damp air, deep greens, the roots and that quiet intensity only a mountain forest can give you.Natural trails, fast lines, slick corners — the kind of downhill that keeps you smiling all the way down.

We wrapped up the day on an epic cashew forest trail. Steep, slippery descents — especially in the rainy season — had everyone riding smart and choosing speed carefully. This was the kind of trail that keeps you focused all the way down. Solid lines, big concentration, no rushing it.
