PROLOG

Arjuno Mountain, as the second highest mountain in East Java, is one of the most popular climbing tourist destinations. The varied trekking trails with biodiversity are the main attraction of Arjuno Mountain.

In addition to the trekking trails, there are also offroad cycling trail that are mostly in the middle of forests and plantation areas. The trail stretches from west to east at the slope of Arjuno Mountain.

With these trail, Barokah Event Management plans to organize TRANS ARJUNO. This is the EMTB ENDURO RIDE event to be held in Arjuno Mountain for EMTB enthusiasts to prove the toughness of their skills, physique and especially their own EMTB. Navigation skills are also required in this event.

ABOUT TRANS ARJUNO

What is the Trans Arjuno EMTB Enduro Ride?

The Trans Arjuno EMTB Enduro Ride is a new event platform from Barokah Bike. It aims to improve riders' skills in mastering EMTB and completing the tough routes we designed.

Is this a competition event?

No, The first Trans Arjuno is an Unsupported Enduro Event. All teams that cross the finish line before the time limit are the CHAMPIONS of this event. We provide appreciation for all finishers and some special appreciation that we are designing by category.

Is this an individual event?

No, it's not. For safety and security reasons, Trans Arjuno has decided that teams of two riders will participate in this event.

What does an "unsupported enduro event" mean?

Each team of participants will follow a route that has been provided without a guide/marshal, without an official mechanic from the committee and without any directions on the track. You and your teammates will have to work together to complete the course.

Is Trans Arjuno's travel time limited?

Yes. The cut-off time (COT) will be announced on July 22, 2025, along with the GPX file of official Trans Arjuno route.

Are all EMTB brands allowed to participate?

All EMTB brands with PEDAL ASSIST system even if it is UNLOCK SPEED are allowed to participate in this event. EMTB with THROTTLE system cannot participate in this event.

Is there a limitation on battery power?

The maximum capacity of the battery is 800 Wh. Battery extension is allowed as long as the total capacity of the two batteries does not exceed 800 Wh.

What are the route conditions?

The Trans Arjuno route is 35 km from start to finish.

In general, the route conditions are as follows:

Km. 0-9: Mujur Mountain Track. A dirt track that never dries throughout the year

Km. 9-12.5 : Macadam and dirt descent until entering the Wonosari tea plantation.

Km. 12.5-22.5 : Combination of downhill and uphill dirt track, macadam, and gravel.

Located in the Wonosari tea plantation area.

Km. 22.5-28.4 : Combination of downhill and uphill. Village and plantation area.

Asphalt, cast, macadam, and dirt tracks.

Km. 28.4-35 : Predominantly long climbs. Macadam track.
